Support
Quick fixes for common ChronoFive account and play issues.
Signing in
Use Google or email code from the Sign in dialog. Sign-in syncs history, streak-related cloud data, and your leaderboard display name across devices.
Missing email codes
- Check spam/promotions for a message from ChronoFive / your sign-in email.
- Request a new code; older codes expire.
- Enter the code in the same browser where you started sign-in when possible.
- Confirm you typed the email that received the code.
Account switching
Daily progress is stored in your browser. Cloud history merges by best score per puzzle date for the signed-in account. On a shared device, sign out when you are done so the next person does not mix accounts.
History synchronization
After sign-in, ChronoFive merges local and cloud completion summaries. If something looks missing, refresh after signing in and check Account → History. Completing a day while signed out still saves locally; sign in afterward to sync summaries.
Restoring Chrono+ purchases
Subscriptions are tied to your ChronoFive account via Stripe. Sign in with the same account you used at checkout. Open Chrono+ → Manage subscription if you need the billing portal. After payment or starting a trial, give it a moment and refresh the page if Chrono+ does not unlock right away.
Yearly free trial
Chrono+ offers a one-time 7-day free trial that converts to the yearly plan unless you cancel before it ends. Monthly and yearly (no trial) are billed immediately at checkout. Only one free trial is available per account.
Managing or canceling Chrono+
Use Manage subscription in the Chrono+ dialog (signed-in subscribers). Canceling stops future renewals according to Stripe’s portal. If you cancel during a free trial, you keep access until the trial ends and you are not charged. After a paid period starts, you keep access through the period already purchased.
Archive access
Free accounts can play the last 7 days of archive. Older dates require Chrono+. If a day is locked, the calendar explains the upgrade path.
Re-guess troubleshooting
- Re-guess requires an active Chrono+ subscription and is limited to one use per account per daily puzzle date.
- Declining an offer does not consume the ticket.
- If confirmation fails, check your connection and try again; your re-guess is only used after it confirms successfully.
Clearing local browser data
Clearing site data for chronofive.com removes local saves, local history, and preferences in that browser. Cloud history for a signed-in account remains on the server and can merge again after sign-in. Export or finish syncing before clearing if you care about unsynced local-only days.
