What ChronoFive is

ChronoFive is a browser-based daily history game for entertainment and informal learning. Event write-ups aim to be accurate but are not a substitute for academic research or professional advice.

Availability

We strive for reliable uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features, puzzles, pricing, and eligibility may change. We may suspend or discontinue parts of the service with reasonable notice when practical.

Accounts

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping sign-in credentials secure. Provide accurate information when using email or OAuth sign-in. Do not attempt to access another person’s account.

Chrono+ subscriptions

Paid Chrono+ features are billed through Stripe. Prices and included benefits are shown in the product UI at purchase time. A one-time free trial (currently 7 days) may be offered as its own checkout option; it converts to the yearly plan unless canceled before the trial ends. Monthly and yearly (no trial) are charged immediately at checkout. One free trial is available per account. Subscriptions renew until canceled through the customer portal or applicable store controls. Canceling during a free trial ends billing for that plan after the trial (you keep access until the trial ends). Unless required by law, fees are generally non-refundable once a paid billing period has started; contact us if a charge looks wrong and we will review in good faith.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse ChronoFive, including by attempting to disrupt servers, scrape at abusive rates, cheat public leaderboards through automated abuse, harass others, or upload unlawful content via contact forms. We may restrict access that threatens the service or other players.

Intellectual property

ChronoFive branding, UI, software, and curated event packaging are protected by applicable IP laws. You may play and share your personal results. You may not copy the event bank or site for a competing service without permission.

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ChronoFive and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, scores, or profits arising from your use of the service. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of amounts you paid us for Chrono+ in the twelve months before the claim or fifty U.S. dollars.

Changes

We may update these terms by posting a revised version with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
